Black Friday Video Ads: 10 Ideas Small Brands Can Make in a Day
Black Friday is on November 27 this year, and Cyber Monday follows on November 30. For the next few weeks, every feed will be full of sale ads.
Big brands started planning months ago. Small brands usually start a week before, with one rushed video or a static “30% OFF” image.
You don't need a shoot or an editor. Here are 10 video ad ideas you can make in one day from your product photos, each with a prompt you can copy.
01The countdown ad
Urgency sells. Show your product with a clear “sale starts in 3 days” feeling.
“The product on a dark table, a soft spotlight slowly brightening on it, calm and premium mood.”
Add your countdown text (“3 days left”) in the caption or as an overlay.
02The price-drop reveal
Show the product first, then the deal. The pause before the reveal keeps people watching.
“Slow camera push-in on the product on a clean studio background, dramatic lighting.”
03The gift-guide ad
Most Black Friday shoppers are buying for someone else. Show your product as the perfect gift.
“The product placed inside an open gift box with tissue paper, warm cosy lighting, hands slowly lifting the lid.”
04The bundle offer
“Buy 2, get 1 free” works better when people can see everything they get.
“Three of the products arranged side by side on a marble surface, the camera slowly gliding across them.”
05The unboxing
Unboxing videos feel real and personal, which builds trust before someone buys from a brand they don’t know yet.
“Hands opening a delivery box and lifting out the product, natural daylight, a home table.”
06The product in real life
Show the product being used, not just sitting there. People buy what they can picture themselves using.
“A woman applying the serum in a bright bathroom mirror, morning light, natural look.”
07The “last chance” ad
Run this on the last day of your sale. Short, direct, urgent.
“Quick close-up of the product, fast energetic camera move, bold and bright.”
08Best-seller spotlight
Lead with what already sells. “Our #1 product, now 30% off” is easy to trust.
“The product rotating slowly on a pedestal, clean premium studio, soft shadows.”
09Before and after
If your product changes something (skin, a room, an outfit), show the difference. It’s the most convincing proof there is.
“A plain room slowly becoming warm and stylish as the product appears on the shelf.”
10The thank-you ad
Not every ad has to sell hard. Thank your customers and invite them back. It works well for retargeting people who already know you.
“The product with a handwritten thank-you note beside it, soft warm light, calm mood.”
Make all 10 in one day
Morning
Pick your 2–3 best products and your clearest photos of each.
Midday
Upload a photo to Adreelo, paste a prompt, and plan the next one while it renders.
Afternoon
Make 9:16 versions for Reels and TikTok, and 1:1 for the feed, with Change aspect ratio. Then cut anything that looks off.
Before November 20
Upload them, so the ad platforms have a week to learn before the sale.
Common mistakes
- Starting too late. Ad costs rise sharply in Black Friday week. Launch early, when they're cheaper.
- One ad only. Run several ideas and let the platform find the winner.
- Hiding the offer. Say the deal clearly in the caption and the first seconds.
- Fake-looking videos. A warped product or odd hands loses trust fast. Keep only the clean ones.
